The Contacts app lets you save and manage information about your contacts.
Opening the Contacts App
There are two ways to open the Contacts app.
Note: Your contacts are displayed alphabetically in a scrolling list.
Option 1:
1. From the Home Screen, press the middle button (OK) to display the Main Menu.
2. Then, use the Multi-directional Navi-key to navigate to Contacts.
Option 2:
1. Simply press the top right soft key to access the app directly.
Importing Contacts
1. Open the Contacts by pressing the top right soft key.
2. Open the Options by pressing the top left soft key.
3. Use the Multi-directional Navi-key to navigate to Import/Export, then select Import contacts.
4. Select the source (Memory card or Internal storage)
Exporting Contacts
1. Open the Contacts by pressing the top right soft key.
2. Open the Options by pressing the top left soft key.
3. Use the Multi-directional Navi-key to navigate to Import/Export, then select Export contacts.
4. Select the contacts to be exported, then press the left soft key (Options) > OK
5. Select the destination (Memory card or Internal storage)
Adding a New Contact
1. In your Contacts list, press the left soft key (Options) > New.
2. Select the destination.
3. Enter the contact’s name, mobile phone number and personal email address (optional).
4. Press the left soft key to Save.
Searching for a Contact
1. In your Contacts list, press the Navi-key (Down) to select the Search Box.
2. Start typing a contact’s name and those with matching names will appear above.
Editing a Contact
You can always make changes to the information you have stored for a contact.
1. In the Contacts list, open the contact you want to edit.
2. Press the OK Key (middle key) to edit.
3. Make changes to the contact information, then press the left soft key (Save).
4. To cancel any changes, select right soft key (Cancel).
Deleting a Contact
1. In the Contacts list, select the contact you want to delete.
2. Go to Options using the left soft key > Delete > left soft key (OK) to confirm.
Categorising Contacts
You can set up various groups to categorise your contacts.
1. In your Contacts list, press the Navi-key (Right) to view the group list.
2. Go to Options using the left soft key to add New groups. Enter the groups name. Select OK.
3. Go back to the Contacts list, then select OK on the contact you want to categorise. Select OK to edit the contact.
4. Scroll to "Unclassified" and select OK, then press the Navi-key (Down) to assign a group for your contacts.
