Your phone's IMEI number is its unique identification number. The IMEI has 15 digits and is assigned to every Cat® phone.
Important: If you have a dual SIM device, there might be two IMEI numbers shown as IMEI 1 and IMEI 2. Please consider IMEI 1 as your device's identification number.
Smartphone
Option 1: Finding your IMEI on the box
Your IMEI number can be found on the outside of the box that you received your phone in and makes up part of the Regulatory Approval’s label.
Option 2: Finding your IMEI via the keypad
1. Open your Phone app and tap the dial pad icon.
2. Type *#06# into the keyboard and your IMEI number(s) will be shown in a new window.
Option 3: Finding your IMEI via the Settings app
1. Go to Settings > About phone and scroll down to IMEI.
Note: These steps are different depending on Android Version. For exact steps please select your phone model here:
S31, S48c, S60, S61, S62 Pro, S52, S41, S42, S22, S62, S53, S75
Option 4: Finding your IMEI in the SIM tray slot
1. Open the SIM tray door and remove the SIM tray.
2. Pull out the white and black label in the SIM tray slot.
3. Your IMEI number(s) will be written on the label.
Option 5: Finding your IMEI on the device
On newer phone models such as the S53, you will find a label on the rear of the device showing the IMEI number and all the appropriate certification markings.

Your IMEI number can be found on the outside of the box that you received your phone in and makes up part of the Approval’s label.
Option 2: Finding your IMEI via the keyboard
1. Type *#06# into the keyboard.
2. The IMEI number(s) are displayed.
Option 3: Finding your IMEI under your battery
1. Power off your device, unlock the back screw and remove the backplate of the device.
2. Remove the battery from the device and your IMEI number will be printed underneath the battery in the phone.
Note: Devices that have a removable battery include the B30, B26 and S22.
