If you notice your device does not power on when pressing the power button then there are steps you can try that should allow the device to start up.
1. Plug your phone into its charger to see if this wakes the device. You may notice an LED displayed in the corner, or the phone may vibrate. If there's no reaction, then test the original Cat charger with another device to confirm this isn't faulty.
Note: It may take up to 30 minutes for your phone to indicate charging if the battery is completely depleted.
2. While the phone is still connected to the charger, long press the power key for 15 to 20 seconds and the device should restart and turn on.
Note: If your phone charger is faulty then you can purchase a new cable from our spare parts team. To contact them please click here.
3. Check the USB port on the phone and plug the end of the charging cable for any dust or dirt. Using compressed air is the safest way to clear dirt from the USB port. Never insert tools into the USB port as that can damage the pins.
4. Check the USB port for any missing or bent pins. If you see bent pins, do not attempt to charge the phone but contact our support team to arrange for a repair.
