If you notice a decrease in the volume of the loudspeaker then there may be a fault with your device. This can be caused by several factors:
Contact with liquid:
Although your device and the loudspeaker are waterproof, volume can be affected after contact with liquid. Small droplets may stick to the speaker and muffle the sound produced by it.
We recommend:
1. Opening all ports and covers to allow the inside of the device to dry.
2. Gently tapping the speaker area onto a paper towel to ensure as much water is shaken out of the speaker. Then we recommend placing the phone down (face up) in the sun or next to a fan blowing on it, so it will dry it out faster.
3. Speaker dry Apps are also available and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
Note: It can take several hours or even a day or two for it to completely dry out and sound normal again.
Low volume setting:
While on a call or playing back media, the volume buttons might have been tapped accidentally decreasing the volume. Please make sure to check the volume setting and increase the volume if it is set too low.
Other causes:
Loudspeaker performance can also be impacted by dust or metal shavings, as well as software issues like missing updates, third party app interference, etc. or hardware defects. Please contact us to receive further support and arrange a repair if necessary.
